Garth C. Panting

Garth serves as the Chief Artistic Officer of the Encouraging Works enterprise based in Winnipeg. He provides organizations with beautiful works of art that support and nurture positive work environments. Garth has been a visual artist for over 30 years. His inspiration comes from the miracle and beauty of our natural world including air, wind, sky, trees, forests, light, birds, flowers, water, fields and meadows. He aims to capture the beauty of our prairie surroundings in vibrant colours, energy and gentle yet bold interpretation. In 2007 his work "Welcoming, Widening World" was selected and featured in the national "Sacred Expressions" collection of Canadian art. His successful "Creation's Colours" art show and fund raiser celebrates the positive energy of the beauty that surrounds us.

Garth was born and raised in Winnipeg and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Winnipeg. He is also a graduate of Red River College.

Colourful, bright, energy-filled and encouraging acrylic paintings of many sizes are available for enlivening businesses, professional offices, homes, churches and schools and for recognizing important employee, team and client events and achievements. Commissioned works are welcome. Garth conducts painting workshops in support of team building and recognizing special events. As well, Garth welcomes the opportunity to contribute to worthy causes via donations of an original painting to fundraising events specifically aimed at supporting not-for-profit organizations who serve our communities. He has contributed works of art to numerous organizations including Winnipeg Harvest, CNIB, Fort Whyte Alive, House of Hesed, Crohn's and Colitis and CancerCare Manitoba Breast Cancer Centre of Hope.

We hope you are inspired and nurtured by Garth's encouraging visual works – for your eyes, for your environment, for your mind, for your heart and for your soul.
